Role Summary:

We are seeking an intake Co-Ordinator that will be fully responsible for day-to-day mixing of raw materials for the production lines whilst avoiding unnecessary delays in production. Also, they will be responsible for raw material deliveries and quality checks.

Key Responsibilities:

* Daily stock count at start of the shift of raw materials in silo bins.
* Maintain housekeeping standards to ensure a clean and safe workplace [GMP must be min 90%].
* To have effective communication skills to communicate with delivery drivers.
* To confidently discuss the working area/process with site visitors.
* The mixing of raw material each day for the production lines.
* Responsibility of the quality of product that is produced within the shift in line with the company's quality systems, processes, and procedures.
* Ability to work well under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
* Display both a sense of urgency and a positive can-do attitude and attention to detail.
* To be fully competent in using the ERP system for completing production runs in line with traceability of stock.
* The production plan should be carried out in the most efficient way possible to avoid unnecessary delay in production.
* To use the ERP system in receipting in new raw material deliveries.
* To be able to correctly startup and close-down the intake systems.
* To be able to perform multiple quality checks on the raw material deliveries to ensure they are up to spec and if not raising the issue.
* To be able to set up the cleaner process equipment for the raw material deliveries.
* To be able to correctly perform the bin storage selection.
* To correctly fill out and record the necessary paperwork and hand the delivery notes into the goods in department.
* To bring up any issues to the relevant department as required and actions taken to resolve them.

Other duties as assigned:

The employee may be required to perform other duties and responsibilities as assigned by their manager, supervisor or other authorised personnel. These duties and responsibilities may be added, modified, or eliminated to meet the organisation's changing needs and business requirements.

Qualifications / Experience:

* Must hold a current forklift licence.
* Experience in a fast-moving consumer goods (FMCG) environment is desirable but not essential.

Skills and Abilities:

* Strong time management and prioritisation skills to ensure shift objectives are met efficiently.
* Proactive problem-solving capabilities with a logical and solution-oriented approach.
* High level of attentiveness and situational awareness to ensure smooth and safe operations.
* Demonstrates a strong work ethic, reliability, and accountability.
* Excellent organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines.
* Sound understanding and adherence to workplace health and safety procedures.
* Commitment to maintaining high quality and production standards.

Physical Requirement:

This is a physically active role that requires flexibility to move around the site, operate machinery, and handle materials in line with manual handling guidelines.

Work Environment:

Working in the factory environment there is a requirement to be flexible in your approach and work both inside and out as required. Fast manufacturing production environment.

Other information:

Also please be aware the factory is in a remote location with no public transport links so reliable/own transport is essential. Factory location - DN41 8NB

Shift details:

Mon-Thu, 2.30pm-1.30am (2 x 30 min unpaid breaks)

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: £14.80 per hour
