We’re looking for a Finance Systems Manager who thrives at the intersection of finance, technology and progress — someone who enjoys improving systems, empowering people, and shaping smarter ways of working through automation and AI.


This role sits at the heart of a dynamic finance function, acting as the bridge between Finance, IT, hotel teams and external partners, ensuring our financial systems are accurate, compliant, efficient — and ready for the future.


What You’ll Be Doing

As our Finance Systems Manager, you’ll take full ownership of our financial systems landscape — from PMS, POS and AP platforms through to accounting software — ensuring everything works seamlessly together.

You’ll:

* Be the go‑to expert for all finance systems, owning the roadmap and driving continuous improvement
* Partner closely with Finance leadership, Hotel teams and IT to turn business needs into effective system solutions
* Lead month‑end and year‑end close processes, identifying opportunities to automate, improve accuracy and save time
* Champion the use of automation, AI and data, staying ahead of industry trends and future capability
* Act as the main liaison for system users and external providers, escalating and resolving issues swiftly and effectively
* Build strong relationships with third‑party partners to ensure the right support is always in place
* Design and deliver user‑friendly training, empowering colleagues to confidently use and understand our systems
* Maintain system controls, access governance and compliance, regularly auditing risk and improving processes at source
* Build and lead a growing financial systems team, shaping its future and supporting change and development projects



Who This Role Is For

You’re someone who enjoys improving how things work, not just maintaining the status quo. You’re analytical, curious, and comfortable working across teams — translating complexity into clarity.


You’ll bring:

* An accounting or finance qualification, or strong practical experience in month‑end and financial processes
* Proven experience managing hospitality financial systems, including PMS, POS, AP and Sage
* Strong systems and data knowledge, with SQL experience preferred and an interest in AI tools
* A commercial, entrepreneurial mindset with a proactive approach to problem‑solving
* Confidence working in a control‑led, regulated environment, with a strong eye for detail
* Excellent communication skills and the ability to influence across technical and non‑technical teams
* Advanced Microsoft Office skills
* The ability to prioritise effectively in a fast‑paced, high‑volume environment
* A genuine appetite to learn, grow and drive change
