Are you passionate about shaping the next generation of Motor Vehicle professionals? DN Colleges Group is seeking an inspiring and skilled Motor Vehicle Lecturer to join our Engineering team. This is an exciting opportunity to deliver high‑quality teaching, guide learners to achieve their potential, and help maintain strong industry links within a supportive and forward‑thinking college environment.
As a Lecturer in Motor Vehicle, you will play a key role in delivering engaging lessons, supporting student progression, and contributing to the ongoing development of our curriculum. You will also act as a Programme Tutor for a designated student caseload and support learners to achieve their goals both academically and personally.
Essential Criteria
1. A relevant Motor Vehicle professional qualification at Level 3 or above.
2. Minimum Level 2 qualifications in English and Maths.
3. Level 5 teaching qualification or willing to work towards
4. Strong subject knowledge and understanding of current curriculum and qualification frameworks.
5. Ability to motivate, manage behaviour, and support learners to fulfil their potential.
6. Excellent communication, organisational and teamwork skills.
Key Responsibilities
7. Deliver high‑quality, engaging teaching across a range of Motor Vehicle courses.
8. Act as Programme Tutor, supporting a caseload of full‑time and/or part‑time students.
9. Embed English and Maths within vocational teaching.
10. Utilise innovative teaching methods and emerging technologies to enhance learning.
11. Maintain accurate records including registers, assessments, and progress tracking.
12. Monitor attendance and behaviour, taking appropriate action when required.
