API Automation Engineer

Lorien's leading banking client is looking for a skilled API Automation Engineer with strong experience of with Rest API testing in Java to join our London-based team.
The ideal candidate would have experience of working with Cloud Technologies and Streams-process platforms.
This role is based in London.
This role will be Via Umbrella.
Working in a Hybrid Model of 2 days a week on site.
Key Skills and Experience
1. Rest API automation testing in Java
2. Java library and framework: Lombok, Spring Boot
3. Stub testing experience: yaml, wiremock or Mockito, SOAP API testing
4. Programming languages experience in OOP: Java or C#
5. tools used: Cucumber Gherkin, Postman (Bruno), Junit:
6. CI/CD integration with Gitlab/Jenkins
7. Git version control: Gitlab/GitHub
8. experience in JIRA or any issue tracking system
9. Agile methodologies and exposure to BDD methods
10. Banking/Financial services domains experience
Highly Desirable
Experienced with any of the following:
11. Cloud technologies AWS modules: CloudWatch (logging), Athena, EC2, Lambda, storage (S3, EBS), databases (RDS, DynamoDB)
12. stream-processing platform: Kafka, webhook, protos
13. Docker and Kubernetes (nice to have)
