Our Tesco Colleague rate of pay starts from £13.28 an hour and increases to £14.55 for stores within the M25. Additional payments may also apply depending on location.
We offer a minimum of 16 guaranteed hours each week. If you would like to work fewer hours (to a minimum of 12) we have opportunities for this too.
Responsibilities
- Serve shoppers and provide great customer service.
- Work across the store in service, picking and replenishment areas as required.
- Apply training to work safely, effectively and serve customers brilliantly.
- Make decisions that are right for customers and deliver routines that meet their needs at the right time.
- Take part in seasonal, community and charity events to create an inclusive atmosphere.
- Understand your store's performance and support service and sales, reduce waste and shrink, and deliver profit.
- Handle products with care to maintain quality and ensure they reach customers in the best condition.
- Follow policies and be a brand ambassador, arriving on time, well presented and ready to work.
- Accept deliveries into the store when required.
Qualifications

- Ability to build rapport with customers so they leave the store having experienced a great shopping trip.
