The investment strategic delivery team ensures the efficient, compliant and well-governed running of Nest Invest as an FCA authorised subsidiary and carries out strategic planning for the future evolution of Nest Invest to make sure its business model and governance remain fit for purpose as the organisation grows.
The Role
The Investment Governance Analyst role will be key to ensuring that business functions of Nest Invest, such as governance, policies, people development, compliance, risk management, are maintained and developed.
The role holder will provide project management support to the Investment Delivery team and leadership team. They will support the efficient running of governance forums and committees for Nest Invest, including agenda coordination, drafting of papers, meeting logistics, and paper collation.
The role includes ensuring governance documentation remains current, well organised, and aligned with regulatory and internal requirements.
The role holder will support the Nest Invest Governance Manager with the preparation of governance reporting and management information for senior stakeholders and governance forums, coordinating inputs across teams, and identifying opportunities to improve governance processes, documentation, and ways of working.
The Person

* Prior knowledge and experience of working in an FCA authorised environment.
* Experience of preparing policy papers and/or reports for executive level meetings.
* Experience of working in a corporate governance team and of managing a range of senior stakeholders and Board/Committee members.
* Excellent written and verbal communication skills and organisational skills
* Outstanding attention to detail and high levels of accuracy
* Good time management, planning and able to effectively juggle a variety of tasks and priorities to meet multiple deadlines.
* Ability to contribute their skills and initiative to make an impact right away.

The Investment directorate (Nest Invest) is responsible for investing members’ contributions to grow their retirement pots over the long-term. The responsibilities of the team include:
* Asset allocation and portfolio risk management
* Manager selection and monitoring
* Responsible investment
* Investment communications
* Fund administration
* Investment technology and financial modelling
* Contributing to the development of the investment proposition
From December 2019, the Nest Investment team was seconded into Nest Invest Ltd (Nest Invest), the investment subsidiary of Nest Corporation.
Nest Invest is authorised and regulated by the Financial Conduct Authority (FCA). For the role holder, this means working in a regulated entity, and being required to adhere to certain rules and behaviours included in the FCA’s Code of Conduct (COCON), specifically the individual Conduct Rules defined by the FCA.
