We are seeking a dedicated and experienced SEN Teaching Assistant to join a primary school in Sittingbourne, supporting a small group of children within a specialist nurture provision.
This is a rewarding opportunity for someone passionate about helping children with additional needs thrive in a structured, supportive environment.
Key Responsibilities:
* Support a small group of pupils with special educational needs (SEN)
* Work closely with the class teacher and SEN team
* Deliver activities using pre-prepared planning
* Help create a calm, consistent, and nurturing learning environment
* Support pupils’ emotional, social, and academic development
Requirements:
* Proven experience working with children with SEN
* Strong behaviour management and communication skills
* Reliable and able to commit to the full duration of the role
* Must work term time only (no holidays during term time)
* Minimal pre-booked appointments to ensure consistency for pupils
