Human Resources Payroll Administrator – Stoke-on-Trent

Our client is seeking two detail-oriented HR & Payroll Administrators to join our team on a full-time, 12-month contract in Stoke-on-Trent. This role is ideal for individuals with strong administrative skills and a solid background in HR or payroll support.

You will be responsible for managing time and attendance systems, collating payroll-critical data, and ensuring accuracy of employee records. Acting as the first point of contact for queries, you’ll support employees, managers, and the local HR team while ensuring deadlines are met.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Administer and maintain the time & attendance system (Google Appsheet).
2. Accurately record hours, overtime, holidays, and all leave types.
3. Handle employee queries on time and attendance in a professional manner.
4. Prepare and distribute weekly, monthly, and ad-hoc reports.
5. Manage payroll input sheets, new hire forms, and HR admin documentation.
6. Audit and resolve data errors to maintain accuracy.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

1. Ideal for candidates with 2+ years of experience, recent graduates, or those seeking to take the next step in their HR or payroll administration career.
2. Strong Google Workspace skills, particularly Sheets.
3. Experience with HRIS (Human Resources Information System) software.
4. Excellent attention to detail, organisation, and communication skills.
5. Resilient, adaptable, and able to manage multiple priorities.
