AWS Sales, Marketing, and Global Services (SMGS) is responsible for driving revenue, adoption, and growth from the largest and fastest growing small- and mid-market accounts to enterprise-level customers including public sector. The AWS PACE team interacts with leading companies to innovate and deliver mission-critical business solutions on top of AWS services.

The role of the Head of Prototyping and Cloud Engineering - Delivery and Engineering (PACE), will lead a team of talented architects, developers and transformation experts applying these methods to assemble and deliver solutions for the world’s leading clients.

Our Prototyping and Cloud Engineering team is designed to help our customers leverage emerging technologies and this new way of working to deliver tangible solutions using lean principles, iterative agile development, multi- functional teams and lightweight development concepts like micro services on the cloud.

Key job responsibilities
You will be managing a team of cross functional architects, developers and transformation experts supporting AWS customers to build rapid MVP experiments and transformation adapted to their specific, innovation focused, use cases.

- 8+ years of enterprise IT application work that includes at least 2 years of hands-on software development or DevOps engineering experience
- 2+ years of architecting/operating solutions built on any cloud service provider like Azure, AWS, GCP, OCI, etc. experience
- 8+ years of technology solutions development and evangelising end-to-end technology roadmaps that guide IT transformations toward cloud computing experience
- Experience leading and growing teams of senior technology professionals, ideally in customer facing roles
- Experience architecting, migrating, transforming or modernizing customer requirements to the cloud
