Student Liaison Officer Job overview This role is perfect for someone who may want to work, but also enjoy their downtime. The role requires up to 35 hours per week, which means you get more free time each week to do your own thing. Whether that be play sport, study or game. This role suits those who can connect with children in a caring and approachable but professional manner. You are able to listen, look out for signs (supervise) and follow procedure. You’ll be the first line of response for any accommodation and welfare issues for our international students during their stay; acting as general support to the centre, activity and academic management to ensure the programme is being delivered to a high standard. You’ll make sure everyone is up in the morning and back to bed in the evenings, and supervise meal times to make sure everything is running smoothly. Much of the day you might be “on call”, ready to jump into action to support the centre and the students as necessary. Key Responsibilities Centre Supervision Your support will be invaluable in making sure the activity, academic programmes and the centre as a whole run smoothly. You’ll monitor meal times, help deal with accommodation issues, enforce curfews and always be alert for any safeguarding issues. Settling in A key role for the Student Liaison Officer assisting in the challenging process of getting everyone settled into their rooms when they arrive from the airport. This involves checking rooms prior to arrivals, making sure rooming lists are followed and deliver campus tours. Centre support You’ll be essential support for the management team as day to day challenges arise Job Details Full Board - Accommodation and meals provided throughout your contract Salary, including holiday pay - Under 21- £403 per week, Over 21 - £472 per week, Returners bonus £20 per week (Up to 35 hours) Working Hours - Up to 35 hours per week based on 6 working days. Available Contract Dates - Temporary - April, July & August 2026 Pre-joining training dates - Essential training will be delivered in the first few days of your contract, and online training will need to be completed prior to your arrival. An online safeguarding course will need to be completed prior to your arrival at the centre.
