Job Description
We're looking for a Manufacturing Technician to join a high-tech instrumentation team building advanced optical and electronic systems used in cutting-edge scientific applications.
As Manufacturing Technician Responsibilities include:
* Assemble and test precision instruments (electronics + optics)
* Build electrical harnesses and electronic sub-systems
* Align optical components using laser systems
* Carry out Final Acceptance Testing (training provided)
* Follow detailed work instructions and record test data accurately
* Support fault finding and repair activities
* Contribute to continuous improvement and lean manufacturing
Experience required:
* Strong hands-on assembly experience and excellent attention to detail
* Experience in electronics, optics, or precision instrumentation (approx. 3 years)
* Ability to perform basic fault finding (e.g. continuity testing)
* Comfortable working in a lab/PPE environment
* Team player with good communication skills
* Laser/optics experience desirable
