Berry Recruitment Southampton are looking for a Chef De Partie to work at one of our local Townhouse Restaurants in Alresford, Southampton.
Role: Chef De Patie
Hours: Full Time
Contract: Permanent
Pattern: Wednesday to Sunday (Off Sunday evening, Monday and Tuesday Off)
Hours: Wed - Sat 09:30 to 15:00, 17:30 to 21:00. Sunday 10:00 to 18:00.
Pay: Around £25,000 per annum depending on experience
You will be working in a Townhouse Restaurant based in Alresford, Winchester.
Your role will be delivering outstanding cuisine to guests for Breakfast, Lunch, Dinner and bespokse Events.
Working as part of the team, you will have the ability to run a section and will support with daily kitchen activities, ensuring food quality and freshness, monitoring, ordering and stocking of your section.
Job Duties:
1. Food preparation on delegated section.
2. Ensures a first-in, first-out food rotation system and verifies all food products are properly dated and organised for quality assurance
3. All food preparation and presentation to ensure quality and restaurant standards
4. Verifies that food storage units all meet standards and are consistently well-managed

Ideal Candidate will:
7. Have at least 1 years previous experience working in a busy professional kitchen in this role
8. Have a good understanding of all basic cooking techniques
9. Have the ability to deliver excellent standards and display a willingness to learn
10. Possess the desire to develop your skills as well as show creativity and passion in your work
11. Have a friendly and positive attitude
12. Be highly motivated, proactive and reliable
13. Be clean and tidy, conforming to all food and hygiene legislation
14. Be flexible with working hours to meet the business needs.
