E,C&I Engineer
Location: Warrington (Hybrid)
Salary: £35,000 – £45,000
Working Hours: 40 hours per week, Monday – Friday
Experience Level: 2–4 years (Flexible will consider 1 year)

The Opportunity
We are looking for a motivated permanent EC&I Engineer to join a growing engineering team delivering complex, high-integrity projects within a highly regulated nuclear environment.
This role offers exposure to the full project lifecycle, from early concept design through to manufacture and commissioning, providing an excellent platform for career development within a technically challenging sector.
Key Responsibilities
Support the delivery of EC&I design packages across the full project lifecycle
Produce EC&I design documentation and drawings in line with project standards and procedures
Assist in the coordination, planning, and execution of design activities
Work closely with multidisciplinary engineering teams to ensure integrated design solutions
Contribute to design reviews and ensure compliance with technical and regulatory requirements
Support project delivery to agreed timelines, quality standards, and budgetsSkills & Experience
HNC or Degree (or equivalent) in Electrical, Control Engineering, or a related discipline
Minimum of 2 years’ experience in a professional engineering or technical role
Experience working within highly regulated industries (e.g., nuclear, defence, or similar)
Familiarity with AMTECH ProDesign (or similar cable calculation software)
Working knowledge of AutoCAD for design
Exposure to BIM-enabled projects is desirable
Experience collaborating with multidisciplinary teams is advantageousAdditional Requirements
Must have the right to work in the UK
Willingness to undergo security clearance (required for role). Ability to gain SC Clearance is essential.
Flexibility to travel to client or project sites as required
