Overview
We’re looking for a proactive and detail-oriented Monitoring Operator to join our Control Room team, overseeing the performance of our clients’ solar farms. You’ll play a key role in maintaining the health and availability of renewable energy assets, acting as the first point of contact for faults, outages, and on-site coordination.
This is a fast-paced and varied position that involves weekend and night work as part of a fixed rota — ideal for someone who enjoys multitasking, problem-solving, and working with data in a dynamic environment.
Responsibilities
* Monitor a portfolio of solar sites throughout the day to identify and log performance issues or faults.
* Create work orders and communicate incidents to the wider team.
* Keep the team updated on outages, site events, and engineering works.
* Liaise with engineers, contractors, and clients to coordinate site access and progress updates.
* Monitor site security and take appropriate action when required.
* Answer incoming calls and support general office administration.
Qualifications
* Ability to work efficiently in a high-pressure environment.
* Strong multitasking and organisational skills.
* Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
* Confident analysing data and identifying trends.
* Good IT skills, including experience with monitoring or reporting systems.
* Strong written and verbal communication skills.
