Planning Legal Director – Birmingham City Centre | International Law Firm
Responsibilities
* Leading and or supporting wider project teams on the promotion of DCOs and CPOs, and the management of Planning Appeals
* Drafting and reviewing planning‑related legal agreements for developers, lenders, and public sector clients
* Conducting detailed legal research and analysis on planning law and related matters
* Supporting Real Estate colleagues with planning due diligence, including supervision where required
* Advising clients on planning regulations, policies, and procedures
* Maintaining up‑to‑date knowledge of planning law and policy developments
* Prioritising work effectively to maximise efficiency, ensure high service delivery, and meet all deadlines
* Supporting, supervising, and mentoring junior members of the team
* Building strong internal and external relationships to maintain key client accounts and develop business networks
