Finance Business Partner - Transformation & Technology
The Role
A career opportunity for a part-qualified accountant to step up as a finance business partner, working closely with leads across IT, E-Business, and Transformation cost centres. The role is suitable for someone with experience supporting one-off programmes or significant IT investments.
Key Responsibilities
* Track and analyze actual spend in a timely manner
* Update forecast spend accurately and promptly
* Identify and monitor financial risks and opportunities
* Prepare monthly management reports for the Technology & Transformation team, ensuring data reconciliation
* Maintain monthly accruals and prepayments schedules; post journals into Oracle
* Collaborate with leads to track financial risks and opportunities at a transactional level, reflecting updates in forecasts and reports to senior stakeholders via Hubble
* Assist in preparing the annual budget and rolling forecasts with the FP&A team and department heads
* Manage POs for Technology & Transformation, liaising with stakeholders, coding POs, and managing extensions
* Serve as the first point of contact for finance queries related to Technology & Transformation
* Create and manage recharge schedules, coordinating with BU finance teams to ensure understanding and anticipation of recharges
The Successful Applicant
* Part-qualified ACA/ACCA/IMA
* Experience supporting significant IT change programmes or CapEx spend is desirable
* Experience in business partnering across multiple functions/divisions
* Proficiency with Oracle or similar systems with integrated modules
* Excellent Excel skills
* Ability to develop accurate financial models
* Strong attention to detail and analytical skills
