We are looking for Counterbalance Forklift Drivers on behalf of our client in Daventry. Our client is a large company that deals with the logistics and distribution of automotive parts and products across the UK and Europe, and this role involves loading and unloading motorbikes, and ensuring efficient warehouse operations.
The Role:
1. Load and unload motorbikes from trailers using a Counterbalance forklift
2. Stack motorbikes safely in the warehouse, sometimes up to three bikes high
3. Scan stock into the warehouse using handheld scanners
4. Apply labels where required
5. Carry out basic computer work to update stock information
6. Support general housekeeping duties when required
What We’re Looking For:
7. Proven experience operating a Counterbalance forklift
8. Valid Counterbalance licence obtained through an accredited training provider
9. Confidence working with high-value or delicate stock
10. Ability to work independently or as part of a team
11. Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions accurately
