Summary

SailGP is hiring a Head of Hospitality Ticket Sales to lead the League's global corporate group ticket and hospitality sales activity, including strategy, product development, team management, direct sales, P&L accountability, and revenue across a team of three dedicated staff based in NYC, UK, and APAC respectively. The candidate will be responsible for defining and executing the strategy as a critical lead on the global Revenue and Commercial team; working closely with Ticketing, Marketing, Operations, Finance, and Hospitality to ensure custom solutions and global execution. This candidate must have detailed experience with mid to high-end hospitality and direct sales experience from within the events industry.

The candidate will be tasked with complex project management, logistics and end-to-end solutions from Product definition and ideation to event delivery.

Key Responsibilities

Develop core go to market strategy, products, materials and management of global corporate group sales across 14 regional events
Manage a global team of Manager and Associate level sales leads, each accountable for direct sales and local event promotion to corporates groups in key market, ensuring exceptional project management skills, contact lists, and outcomes are delivered to a high standard
Lead relationships (identify, hire, manage) regional sales agencies to support scale and delivery of efforts where necessary
Manage negotiations with key clients, closing deals while maximizing revenue and meeting targets
Work closely with internal stakeholders across stakeholders to ensure revenue targets are achieved
Report to leadership and deliver metrics-based updates across team objectives and projects
Develop exceptional relationships with internal stakeholders
Represent SailGP globally to critical decision makers, partners and UHNWI individuals
Travel to meetings, conferences, and events as needed to drive opportunities forward

Essential

About You:

10+ years of proven sales, event, hospitality, ticketing, and experiential sales management across APAC, Americas and EMEA.
Excellent verbal and written communications skills to effectively build and present sales proposals
Experience in managing high-value clients, including sponsors, corporate partners, and VIPs
Proven ability to manage a diverse team with high-pressure targets and deadlines
Ability to confidently negotiate contracts and close sales while maximizing revenue
Excellence with CRM tools and other software to track performance and manage leads
Experience working with event teams or managing live event sales to corporate audiences
Ability to work collaboratively with marketing, event, and sponsorship teams to drive sales efforts
Talent in distilling complex information into simple, memorable terms
Detail-oriented with the ability to multi-task and manage various projects
Positive, curious, inventive and resourceful, with a strong work ethic

Location:

London, United Kingdom. Hybrid working model with a minimum of 3 days per week in the London Office. Travel is essential.
