As a Sales Assistant / Delivery Driver based ina brand new branch we are opening in Leicester youll be responsible for:
Driving a 3.5T van delivering plumbing and heating supplies to our customers in the local area.
Serving customers on the trade counter by understanding their specific needs and providing product recommendations
Responding to customer enquiries via phone & email promptly and courteously, with a proactive attitude
Proactively contacting customers to build relationships and drive branch sales particularly focusing on customers with reduced or inactive spending
Assisting with general warehouse duties including picking & packing customer orders, unpacking and putting away deliveries which will involve manual handling of heavy items e.g. boilers, radiators, sinks and toilets
Ensuring high standards are maintained in the branch
This is a full time permanent role working 40 hours per week Monday - Friday between 07.30am - 5.00pm and Saturdays on a rota basis 8.00am - 12.00pm.

Full UK Driving Licence is essential
Prior industry experience would be advantageous
Previous Face to Face customer service is essential
Prior warehouse experience would be ideal
Willingness to work as a part of a team and to take on a diverse role
Proactive and eager to learn, demonstrating a positive attitude and strong work ethic
Proficient in computer skills
To be comfortable lifting heavy items
