This role offers a locum position with a salary of up to £35 per hour on a four-day workweek for a three-month contract. What you will do:
- Provide specialised occupational therapy services to children and adolescents experiencing social, emotional, and mental health difficulties.
- Assess and develop individualised treatment plans aimed at improving independence and quality of life.
- Engage flexibly and independently within multidisciplinary teams to deliver integrated care.
- Utilise knowledge of occupational therapy theories to implement effective support strategies.
- Produce clear, concise, and comprehensive reports on patients’ progress.
- Cultivate interest in sensory integration techniques and pursue relevant training opportunities to enhance therapeutic outcomes.
Requirements:
- HCPC registered Occupational Therapist.
- Confident car driver with ability to travel for client visits across Haringey.
- Demonstrable experience in SEMH or similar settings.
- Experience working with neurodivergent individuals or those with learning and mental health challenges is highly preferred.
