We have a vacancy for a Manufacturing Engineer.
Role Accountabilities:
1. Participate in the Daily Operations meetings when required, taking ownership of problems assigned to the ME function for resolution.
2. Understand the process constraints and operating rules of the value stream covered in the ME role and participate in problem-solving exercises to improve flow where relevant.
3. Create and control (to the correct version) manufacturing documentation such as set-up packs, stage drawings, work instructions, standard operating procedures (SOPs), etc
4. Take accountability for the relevant milestones in the NPDI gated process and fulfilling all ME tasks defined in that process (eg: prepare cost estimates, producing stage drawings, creating manufacturing routes, gaining customer approval, etc).
5. Ensure that all necessary tooling/fixturing which is required to support a safe, robust and efficient manufacturing process is designed, manufactured and available to support production.
