Job Title: Social Worker – Transition Team
Location: Cheshire East Council
Rate: £35 per hour
An exciting job role has recently become available for an Adult Social Worker in Cheshire East Council. They are looking for a new member to join their Transition Team.
What will your responsibilities be?
In this role, you will assess the need for social work services, including identifying risks and the need for protection, determining the method of intervention, and advising on the use of appropriate social services and other resources. You will liaise and negotiate with other professionals, statutory and voluntary agencies to ensure the best possible service is provided for clients. Managing and monitoring an allocated workload within individual and group priorities and Council policies, while complying with the statutory obligations of the Group, will be essential. You will maintain appropriate records of work undertaken and carry out required administrative procedures. Additionally, you will prepare for and attend supervision sessions and staff meetings, making use of all available training and development opportunities. Contributing to the evaluation and development of services and new ideas by sharing knowledge about theory, skills, and practice with other social services staff, professional groups, and interested bodies will be part of your responsibilities. Where appropriate, you will also supervise students.

Qualifications and Experiences:
To be successful in this role you must have Social Work England registration, be eligible to work in the UK, hold a qualification in Social Work at degree level, and have post-qualified experience.
