Role Overview The successful candidate will manage a broad and varied caseload of commercial real estate transactions, acting for a range of clients including investors, landlords, tenants, and developers. You’ll handle complex matters independently, support junior team members, and contribute to business development initiatives within the department. Key Responsibilities Manage a diverse caseload of commercial property transactions, including acquisitions, disposals, leases, and development work. Act for landlords, tenants, investors, and developers across multiple sectors. Draft, negotiate, and complete a range of real estate documentation including agreements for lease, overage agreements, and option agreements. Advise clients on property finance transactions and liaise with lenders, brokers, and external counsel. Supervise and mentor junior solicitors or paralegals within the team. Build and maintain strong client relationships, providing commercially sound and pragmatic advice. Contribute to the firm’s growth through networking, business development, and client engagement initiatives. Requirements Qualified Solicitor (England & Wales) with 7–8 years PQE in commercial property law. Proven experience handling a wide range of real estate matters independently. Strong drafting, negotiation, and communication skills. A commercial mindset with the ability to provide practical legal solutions. Experience supervising junior team members is advantageous.
