Clark Wood is working with a highly regarded independent firm of accountants in Worcestershire, seeking an experienced Private Client Tax Partner to lead and grow their Private Client Tax Services Team.
This is a senior-level opportunity for an ambitious tax professional with strong expertise in trusts, inheritance tax, and agricultural tax matters, looking to play a key role in shaping the firm’s advisory services.
The Role:
* Lead private client tax advisory projects, particularly focusing on trusts, estates, inheritance tax planning, and agricultural clients.
* Provide expert tax advice on complex client portfolios, including high-net-worth individuals and family businesses.
* Oversee the review and sign-off of personal and trust tax returns, ensuring technical excellence.
* Work on cross-border tax matters, HMRC enquiries, and offshore structures as required.
* Drive business development, identifying opportunities to expand the firm’s advisory services and increase turnover.
* Support and mentor senior tax professionals within the firm, fostering team development and leadership.
The Candidate:
* CTA qualified (STEP qualification desirable).
* Strong technical knowledge in private client taxation, with particular expertise in trusts, estate planning, and agricultural tax.
* Proven ability to develop client relationships and provide high-level advisory services.
* Commercially minded, with experience in business development and revenue growth.
* Excellent leadership and communication skills, with a track record of managing and developing teams.
