Job Description:
The Role: Checking quality requirements for all products manufactured by Deli Lites, ensuring that products are manufactured in line with Product Specifications, Food Safety, Food Legality, and Factory Hygiene Standards. Reporting any NCRs and GMP issues.
As Night Shift Quality Controller, you will uphold the quality, legality, and authenticity of all our values at DELI LITES and give customers the opportunity to achieve their extraordinary results through our passion for people and food. Your Duties:
1. Safeguard your own safety and others during your duties.
2. Support the Deli Lites Quality Team.
3. Ensure compliance with company procedures for Health & Safety, Food Safety, and Hygiene.
4. Approve in-process production by confirming specifications; conduct visual and measurement tests; communicate required adjustments to your supervisor.
5. Approve finished products by confirming specifications; conduct visual and measurement tests; manage re-work processes.
6. Complete paperwork and records of checks, including weight, temperature, label, metal detection, and checkweigher checks.
7. Communicate internal and supplier non-conformances through Daily Quality Reports.
8. Maintain measurement equipment and highlight repairs needs.
9. Support production and ensure use of quality ingredients and safe products.
10. Assist NPD and Production teams during trials.
11. Report issues impacting food safety, legality, or quality.
12. Perform other reasonable tasks as assigned by supervisors or managers.
Desired Criteria:
* Excellent written and oral communication skills.
* Energetic, enthusiastic, and creative.
* Strong planning and organizational skills.
* IT literate.
* Experience in a Quality Department within the food industry.
