Your new role
Supply teachers are essential in keeping schools running smoothly when permanent staff are unavailable. By stepping into a variety of classroom year groups, you help ensure students continue receiving meaningful, high-quality learning. These short-term roles often open the door to long-term or even permanent teaching opportunities, making supply work a valuable step in any education career.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Deliver dynamic and inspiring lessons across various year groups across Early Years, KS1 and KS2, helping learners stay engaged and on track
2. Create a calm and supportive learning environment using clear and consistent behaviour management techniques
3. Monitor student progress and relay constructive feedback to full-time teaching staff to enhance each pupil's growth
