An established engineering and construction contractor with a strong pipeline in power transmission and renewable energy is seeking a proactive Environmental Specialist to support key infrastructure projects across Scotland and the wider UK.
This is a permanent opportunity suited to a motivated environmental professional with a strong background in compliance, site monitoring, and sustainability within the infrastructure or energy sectors.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Act as the environmental lead across assigned power and renewables construction sites, ensuring full compliance with regulatory, client, and company standards.
2. Develop and implement Environmental Management Plans (EMPs), Construction Environmental Management Plans (CEMPs), and site-specific environmental procedures.
3. Conduct regular environmental inspections and audits, identifying risks and implementing corrective actions.
