Supplier Quality Engineer Bristol location £40,000 - £43,000 plus bonus and benefits A Supplier Quality Engineer is wanted on a permanent basis by a global client of ours who are at the forefront of their industry. The successful candidate will ensure the consistent delivery of high-quality components, materials, and services from suppliers, thereby guaranteeing the reliability, safety, and performance of products. This is a permanent opportunity that includes a base salary of up to £43,000 plus bonus and benefits. Overview of the Supplier Quality Engineer role: Work within the Supplier Quality team to ensure Supplier performance is regularly reported and that appropriate and timely corrective actions are implemented Make continuous improvement plans and actions to enhance part`s quality and reduce number of non-conformities and the cost of poor quality. Ensure suppliers are proactive on quality improvement actions with effective communication skills. Key skills and qualifications required for the Supplier Quality Engineer role: Have electrical/mechanical engineering experience with clear basic knowledge of manufacturing processes. Be a certified ISO 9001:2015 Lead Auditor Experience of quality standards such as ISO9001, APQP, SPC, PPAP and quality tools. Knowledge of various quality system methodologies, such as: SPC, PPAP, 8D, Lean, 5 Why's, Pareto analysis, 6-Sigma, 8D, FMEA, Cause & Effect quality tools.
