For the successful Quality Inspector, our client is offering:
Up to £14.50 per hour DOE
Monday to Friday - 7.30 am to 3:45 pm
Permanent position

The Role - Quality Inspector
Responsible for the inspection of manufactured and brought in products confirming compliance with specification and quality requirements
Adherence to all organisational policies, management systems and standard operating procedures, including legal responsibilities in relation to Health, Safety, Environmental and Quality
Ensuring products are to the correct tolerances meeting quality standards and specifications.
Carry out internal process and product audits.
Raising of NCR's and assisting with corrective actions.
The ability to take a methodical and systematic approach to your work.
Update and maintain inspection documents, forms, logs, conformance certificates and other records.
Approving or rejecting raw materials with respect to quality standards and record supplier performance.
Utilising measuring tools and equipment to ensure products meet the required specifications.
Any other tasks deemed a part of your role by Management.
What our client is looking for in a Quality Inspector
Ability to read and interpret drawings - ESSENTIAL
Proven experience in a Quality based role - ESSENTIAL
Experience of Auditing - ESSENTIAL
Level 2 Qualification in Quality related discipline - DESIRABLE
Recent experience in a modern manufacturing environment
Good level of numeracy and literacy
Working knowledge of health and safety practises
Confident decision maker
