As the Software Group Lead you’ll lead, grow and inspire a group of software engineers working on embedded/real‑time systems that turn electronics into mission‑critical capability. You’ll have real autonomy: specify, design, build, test and deliver software solutions across high‑integrity safety domains. You’ll become a central figure in a multi‑discipline engineering team, positioned to sharpen your leadership while deepening your technical presence.
What We’re Looking For
* Experience managing and developing a multidisciplinary software team: allocating resources, meeting timelines and delivering to high quality standards.
* A deep understanding of software development lifecycles – requirements analysis, architecture/design, testing – especially in embedded or real‑time contexts.
* Strong communication and leadership skills: you interface with technical leads, project managers and non‑technical stakeholders, and mentor your team to success.
* A passion for people: you motivate, develop and care about what drives each member of your team.
* Bonus: Experience in defence is not required. If you have experience in adjacent sectors such as automotive, aerospace or consumer electronics please reach out.
