No classroom experience? That's absolutely fine. If you can communicate clearly, stay calm under pressure, and lead a group with confidence - we'll support you with everything else. From training to in-school shadowing, we'll help you feel ready from day one. As a Graduate Cover Supervisor, you'll play an important role in keeping lessons on track when teachers are absent. You'll: - Deliver pre-set lesson plans - Keep students engaged, focused, and on task - Manage behaviour in a calm and consistent way - Follow the school's routines and expectations - Provide feedback to teaching staff If you're considering a career in teaching, this is one of the best ways to experience the classroom before committing. You'll build confidence, gain hands-on experience, and develop a real understanding of how schools operate day-to-day. And if you decide to take things further? We can introduce you to local teacher training routes, including salaried pathways to Qualified Teacher Status (QTS).
