Operations Executive
Location: Welwyn Garden City (Hybrid – 4 days in the office)
Salary: £30,000 – £35,000
Job Type: 12 Month FTC (Maternity Cover)

Operations Executive – About the role:
We are looking for a proactive and highly organised Operations Executive to join the team on a 12-month maternity cover contract. Working closely with the Senior Leadership Team, this role is central to ensuring the smooth day-to-day running of operations, supporting a wide range of business functions and key projects.

Operations Executive – Details:

1. Hybrid working – 4 days in the office, 1 day from home
2. Exposure to senior leadership and strategic business activities
3. Varied role with involvement across multiple departments
4. Opportunity to contribute to key projects and company-wide initiatives

Operations Executive – Responsibilities:

5. Act as the main point of contact for external IT support providers
6. Support with updating company policies, procedures, and rebranding activities
7. Assist with RFIs, tenders, and bid documentation
8. Handle internal queries relating to temporary workers, audits, and supplier requests
9. Provide full diary management support to the Group CEO, including travel coordination
10. Coordinate staff training, including booking venues and liaising with external providers
11. Administer company licences and ensure compliance requirements are maintained
12. Support internal communications, presentations, and quarterly updates
13. Assist with the organisation of company events, conferences, and social functions
14. Provide day-to-day support to the Senior Leadership Team
15. Manage the Operations inbox, ensuring timely responses and escalation where needed
16. Provide cover for the Operations Administrator when required

Operations Executive – What We’re Looking For:

17. Previous experience in a similar operations, administration, or coordination role
18. Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities
19. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
20. A proactive and solutions-focused approach
21. High attention to detail and accuracy
22. Confident working with senior stakeholders
23. Ability to plan ahead and work in a structured, process-driven way
24. Approachable, adaptable, and a strong team player
