Role Overview
We are seeking a visionary and high-performing Oracle-focused Global Sales Director to lead and scale our international sales operations. This strategic leadership role is responsible for developing and executing a high-growth global sales strategy that aligns with the company’s broader business objectives.
As Global Sales Director, you will lead regional sales teams, drive enterprise deal execution, build long-term client relationships, and oversee revenue growth across all key international markets. You will play a critical role in expanding our global footprint, optimising sales processes, and building a performance-driven sales culture.
Key Responsibilities
🧭 Strategic Leadership
* Define, lead, and execute the global sales strategy to achieve short- and long-term revenue goals
* Align global sales initiatives with marketing, product, finance, and operations teams
* Monitor international market trends, competitor activities, and customer insights to inform strategic decisions
* Identify and penetrate new geographic markets and industry verticals
💼 Sales Management
* Direct and manage regional and country sales leaders, ensuring consistent performance and delivery
* Set, monitor, and report on sales KPIs, forecasts, and quotas across all territories
* Drive a high-performance culture through coaching, mentoring, and performance management
* Build and maintain key executive-level customer relationships
🚀 Growth & Revenue Generation
* Own the global sales pipeline and ensure consistent progression from lead to close
* Lead negotiations of large, complex deals across enterprise and strategic accounts
* Expand existing key accounts and uncover upsell/cross-sell opportunities
* Collaborate on pricing strategy, deal structuring, and contract management
⚙️ Operational Excellence
* Standardise sales processes, tools, and reporting across regions
* Implement and optimise the use of CRM and sales enablement technologies
* Ensure alignment with legal and compliance requirements in all territories
* Partner with HR to hire, onboard, and develop top-tier sales talent globally
Required Qualifications & Experience
* Very Strong experience selling Oracle Cloud services across all pillars and verticals.
* 10+ years of progressive sales leadership experience, with at least 5 years in a senior global or regional role
* Proven success in leading international teams and scaling global revenue
* Deep understanding of enterprise sales, channel/partner sales, and direct sales models
* Strong track record of exceeding sales targets in complex B2B environments
* Excellent leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills
* Skilled negotiator with experience managing complex sales cycles and long lead times
* Comfortable navigating cultural differences and international business protocols
Desirable Skills & Attributes
* Experience building and scaling sales in both mature and emerging markets
* Familiarity with sales methodologies such as MEDDIC, Challenger, or SPIN
* Multilingual capabilities or experience working in multilingual environments
* Familiarity with enterprise CRM and sales enablement platforms
