My client is a very reputable and well-established financial planning and wealth management practice based just outside of Norwich (East). They are currently looking for a Financial Services Administrator. While experience in a Financial Planning Practice would be very desirable, my client is open to candidates who are keen to join the sector, confident, and have previous experience working in administration and with numbers. The role involves assisting existing Financial Advisers and their support team.
The Role
This is a wide-ranging and interesting position with significant potential. Working within a friendly environment alongside highly skilled and qualified Financial Advisers, the duties include:
* Preparing client valuations and review packs
* Processing post-review paperwork and preparing relevant correspondence
* Communicating with clients and providers, responding to queries via telephone, email, and post in a timely manner
* Ensuring financial transactions are completed correctly and files are fully FCA compliant by following internal procedures
* Maintaining accurate client records and data
* Obtaining and interpreting information from providers and fund managers, keeping Financial Planners informed of communications
* Sending out letters of authority and correspondence to clients, introducers, and third parties
* Preparing new client meeting packs
* Performing other general administrative duties as assigned
Experience
* A minimum of 1 year working in an administrative position (desirable)
* IFA practice experience (desirable)
* Proficient in Microsoft Office
* Confident with numbers and maintaining a high degree of accuracy
* Ability to work independently following training

Office hours are 9am-5pm, Monday to Friday. Hybrid working is available after probation. Benefits include:
