Job Overview TheDermatologyDepartmentcurrentlyconsistsof14consultantssupportedby2 specialist doctors, 3 Specialty Grade Doctors, and a team of Specialist Dermatology Nurses and Cancer Nurse Specialists. Thedepartmenthasacomplementof specialisttraineesconsistingof 5 Specialist Registrars rotating across the hospital sites in North Wales. We also have a GP trainee and FY2 Doctor placed in dermatology for 6 month and 4 month rotations respectively Main duties of the job This post is a part time post for 12 months, which hasarisen due to maternity leave. It is ideal for someone wishing to progress to dermatology specialist training. Detailed Job Description And Main Responsibilities The post holder will be supporting clinicians undertaking OPD and Minor Operations. The post-holder will be expected to participate in the Clinical Governance and mandatorytrainingsessionsthatcurrentlytakeplaceintheDermatologyDepartment. There will be encouragement and support to maintain CPD/CME activities. Person specification Qualifications Essential criteria Full GMC registration MBBS or equivalent Desirable criteria Depending upon grade applied for, MRCP 1 or further qualifications Experience Essential criteria Recent experience at Foundation Year 1and 2 level or equivalent, and evidence of achievement of Foundation Competencies
