Looking for your next step in care?
We’re on the lookout for someone who’s got experience under their belt and is ready to take on a bit more responsibility. If you’re organised, calm in a crisis, and love bringing out the best in others, this could be the perfect move for you.
As a Senior Care Worker, you’ll still be hands-on with care—but you’ll also be leading by example. That means supporting the team, helping to plan shifts, updating care plans, and keeping everything running smoothly day to day.
You’ll be a key point of contact for service users and their families, so we’re after someone who’s confident, compassionate and comfortable taking charge when needed.
What you’ll be doing:
1. Supporting and guiding care staff on shift
2. Helping to create and update care plans
3. Auditing medication and making sure all systems are safe and sound
4. Stepping in when the manager or deputy is off duty
5. Supporting new staff and helping them settle in
6. Pitching in with the usual care duties—we’re all one team here
What you’ll need:
7. SVQ Level 3 in Health and Social Care
8. Willingness to work towards SVQ 4, PDA Supervision, and PDA Medication
9. Experience supervising or mentoring others
10. SSSC registration (or working towards it)
11. A Christian faith, as this is an Occupational Requirement under the Equality Act
What you’ll get:
12. A role where you can really grow and lead
13. Supportive colleagues and a manager who’s got your back
14. Training and development opportunities
15. Staff benefits, including a pension scheme and employee wellbeing support

As we do our work in Christ’s name the job you have applied for requires you to have a Christian faith and be able to work within and uphold our Christian Ethos. This is an Occupational Requirement under Part 1 of Schedule 9 to the Equality Act 2010.
This post requires you to be a member of the Protecting Vulnerable Groups (PVG) Scheme and undertake the necessary vetting checks. You will also be required to be registered with SSSC and it is your professional responsibility to ensure that you meet the standards and criteria for registration.
