A well-established property and facilities organisation is seeking an experienced Building Surveyor to join their professional services team. This role will focus on delivering stock condition surveys across a varied portfolio of education and corporate buildings, helping to inform long-term asset management and maintenance strategies.
This is an excellent opportunity for a surveyor who enjoys field-based work and wants to contribute to the effective management of large-scale public sector estates.
Key Responsibilities

Undertake stock condition surveys across education and corporate properties.
*
Assess building fabric, components, and lifecycle condition.
*
Record and analyse asset data to support planned maintenance programmes.
*
Produce clear survey reports and condition assessments.
*
Work closely with internal asset management and estates teams.
*
Ensure surveys align with compliance, safety, and regulatory standards.
About You
*
Experience carrying out stock condition surveys or building condition assessments.
*
Background in surveying education, commercial, or public sector buildings.
*
Strong understanding of building construction, defects, and lifecycle costing.
*
Ability to produce clear technical reports and asset data.
*
Degree qualified in Building Surveying or a related discipline.
*
Ideally working towards or holding MRICS (not essential).
*
Full UK driving licence.
