Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and hardworking Labourer to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for assisting with various tasks on-site, ensuring that projects are completed efficiently and safely. This role requires a strong work ethic, the ability to follow instructions, and a commitment to maintaining high standards of quality.
Duties
* Assist in the preparation and clean-up of job sites
* Load and unload materials and equipment
* Operate basic tools and machinery as required
* Follow safety protocols and maintain a clean working environment
* Collaborate with team members to complete tasks in a timely manner
* Perform manual labour tasks such as digging, lifting, and carrying materials
* Perform some skilled tasks such as painting, wallpaper stripping, etc
* Report any issues or concerns to the site supervisor
Experience
* Previous experience in a labouring role is advantageous but not essential
* Ability to work effectively as part of a team and independently when required
* Basic knowledge of construction tools and equipment is beneficial
* Strong physical fitness and stamina to handle demanding tasks
* Willingness to learn new skills and take on additional responsibilities
