The Fleet Engineer is responsible for ensuring the safety, reliability, and operational readiness of the company’s fleet of Class-approved Crew Transfer Vessels (CTVs) operating across the UK, Western Europe, and the Baltic region.
This role combines mechanical, electrical, and electronic engineering responsibilities, providing fleet-wide technical support, proactive maintenance, fault diagnosis, and long-term asset management. The Fleet Engineer will also act as the company’s technical representative at shipbuilders’ yards during new-build and refit projects, ensuring vessels are delivered on time, on budget, and in line with the company’s technical and commercial interests.
The role requires a flexible, hands-on approach, including travel, on-call support, attendance at dockings, and occasional sailing with vessels to diagnose and resolve defects.
The role will require participation in an on-call rota (currently 2 weeks in 4) to provide out-of-hours technical support. Appropriate compensation will be provided in line with company policy
