Electrical Site Supervisor - Canary Wharf - £55,000 - Monday to Friday: 8am - 5pm

If so, we have a great opportunity for you! Randstad presents a fantastic opening for an electrically biased supervisor to become part of a well-established FM company on a permanent basis. This role entails working at a static site located in the Canary Wharf area. The ideal candidates needs previous experience within building maintenance as well as confidence in overseeing a team of engineers on site.

Roles and Responsibilities:

1. Lead your team to ensure excellent service delivery by monitoring service performance, implementing corrective actions as needed across client premises, and escalating issues to the Contracts Manager.
2. Offer first-line management and leadership to the dedicated contract team, establishing team objectives and conducting individual performance management reviews.
3. Perform planned preventive maintenance (PPM) primarily for mechanical and electrical building services equipment and systems in accordance with agreed schedules and service level agreements (SLAs) to achieve client and statutory compliance.
4. Ensure technicians carry out PPM work according to agreed timelines/SLAs, maintain a realistic PPM backlog, and complete all reactive work within acceptable time frames and SLA standards.
5. Review completed work and documentation by technicians to ensure compliance with current legislation.
6. Estimate and execute reactive works identified during PPM activities upon request.
7. Provide service support as part of a team committed to delivering high-quality service.
8. Cultivate strong working relationships with the client, their staff, or appointed representatives through exceptional customer service.
9. Assist in supervising subcontractor works to ensure compliance with relevant health and safety standards when necessary.
10. Complete all necessary documentation, job sheets, and certificates.

Requirements:
City & Guilds qualification in Electrical engineering (level 3 or equivalent)
Experience gained within a building maintenance environment in a supervisory role
A good working knowledge of trades such as- Electrical, Plumbing; HVAC systems and
Refrigeration
Experience in computer PPM management systems (Concept evolution)
Be conversant with current Health and Safety legislation with relevance to safe working
practices.
Practical knowledge of Microsoft packages Word, Excel etc.
