Are you a caring and motivated SEN Teaching Assistant looking for a rewarding role this September? GSL Education London Branch is currently seeking dedicated and enthusiastic SEN Teaching Assistants to support students with special educational needs at secondary schools at Hackney.

Responsibilities of an SEN Teaching Assistant:
Support students with special educational needs in the classroom
Help implement individual education plans (IEPs)
Assist the teacher with classroom activities and behaviour management
Provide 1:1 or small group support when required
Encourage student independence and social interaction
Work closely with teachers, SENCOs, and parents/carers
Requirements for an SEN Teaching Assistant:
Experience working as an SEN Teaching Assistant or in a similar support role
A kind, patient, and positive attitude
Strong communication and teamwork skills
Ability to build strong relationships with students and staff
Understanding of different SEN needs such as ASD, ADHD, SEMH, or MLD
A valid enhanced DBS on the Update Service or willingness to apply
