CAD Designer – Richmond-upon-Thames
Full Time, Office Based
Salary - £25,000 - £35,000 (depending on experience)
Are you a detail-driven CAD Designer who enjoys turning concepts into clear, accurate drawings? This is a great opportunity to join a busy and collaborative office environment where you’ll play an important role in supporting design, administration, and customer communication.
This role is for someone with CAD experience, ideally in furniture or kitchen design, who is looking to develop their skills further, take on a varied workload, and contribute to a growing team. You’ll work closely with colleagues to turn design concepts into technical drawings, help manage projects through the design process, and assist with day-to-day operational tasks.
The Role
As a CAD Designer, you will support the design and administrative workflow by producing technical drawings, assisting with customer communications, and ensuring projects progress smoothly from concept to order.
Responsibilities will include:
* Producing accurate CAD drawings and visual renders
* Converting prepared designs and estimates into completed orders
* Liaising with customers via phone and email to confirm details and amendments
* Supporting colleagues with design updates and project coordination
* Managing documentation and following established design and administrative processes
* Assisting with general office, showroom appointments, or operational tasks when required
* Contributing ideas for design presentation and visual content where relevant
Training will be provided on internal software where required, though previous experience with CAD programs is essential.
