We are seeking an experienced Site Agent to manage and oversee civils and geotechnical works on infrastructure projects across Scotland. This role involves full lifecycle site management, from planning and compliance through to delivery, with a strong focus on safety, quality, and efficiency.
Key Responsibilities:

Oversee daily site operations, ensuring works are delivered safely, on schedule, within budget, and to required quality standards.

Supervise on-site personnel, ensuring compliance with company, client, and site-specific policies and qualifications.
*
Procure plant and materials in line with programme requirements; arrange and coordinate subcontractors.
*
Liaise with subcontractors regarding scheduling, performance, quality, and health & safety compliance.
*
Monitor work progress and maintain project records, ensuring adherence to specifications and standards.
*
Manage the flow of project information, ensuring contract and client requirements are met.
*
Develop and maintain project-specific safe systems of work, including health, safety, quality, and environmental requirements.
*
Assist in the preparation of site documentation (e.g., inductions, task briefings, risk assessments, safety files, method statements).
*
Contribute to the production and ongoing compliance of project documentation such as Construction Phase Plans (CPP), Quality Management Plans (QMP), Environmental Management Plans (EMP), and Work Package Plans (WPP).

Promote proactive safety practices including incident and close-call reporting, and support incident investigations.

Maintain effective communication with clients, stakeholders, and third parties.

Attend site inspections, project meetings, and management reviews.
*
Foster collaborative working across teams and partners.
*
Support the wider management team as required.
Preferred Qualifications and Experience:

PTS (Personal Track Safety)
*
SMSTS (Site Management Safety Training Scheme)
*
Minimum of 5 years’ experience in a supervisory role within the civil engineering or geotechnical sector
*
Demonstrated experience of collaborative project delivery
*
Knowledge of rail infrastructure (desirable)
