Part II Architectural Assistant Job in Central London\n\nA growing practice in Central London now has a Part II Architectural Assistant job available! They are looking to add Part II Architectural Assistants with conservation project experience to the team. Not only does the practice have an incredible work-life balance, but it also offers clear career progression, development, and employee appreciation.\n\nWith their projects being featured in several industry and lifestyle publications regularly, the practice's portfolio of projects ranges from beautiful historic buildings and private homes to commercial properties and interiors in the UK and internationally.\n\nDue to office expansion and a growing portfolio in the high-end London market, they now require Part II Architectural Assistants with strong conservation experience to join them on a full-time, permanent basis!
\n\nRole & Responsibilities\n\nTo work on bespoke, high-end conservation and heritage projects throughout London and the UK\nProjects are varied and these will include historical buildings, London estates, large country estates, grade-listed buildings, and more\nWorking across all RIBA stages with an initial focus on stage 4 through to completion\nSpeaking with and dealing with clients, including site visits and surveys\nCarry out project research\nReport to the Project Architects on project progress\nProduce detailed hand drawings\nProduce high-quality design and technical drawings, with detailed joinery fittings in a traditional style.Required Skills & Experience\n\nExperience in bespoke detailing on traditional, high-end end or classical projects\nMust be Part II qualified and have a minimum of 1 years of professional experience PQE\nMust have relevant UK project experience\nPassion for classical and traditional architecture\nStrong flair for design and strong technical knowledge and skills\nExperience in the preservation and refurbishment of historic buildings\nExperience using ArchiCAD would be beneficial but not essential, full training will be provided.What you get back\n\nSalary of £32,000 - £36,000 DOE\n21 days of holiday, plus bank holidays and discretionary leave over Christmas\nNo staff are expected to work overtime, but if offered, they will pay this at an increased rate\nEmployee assistance programme\nThe practice offers a variety of workplace activities and groups, such as 'Woman in Architecture, Sustainability Working Group, and Historic Buildings Working Group' - just to name a few!\nProfessional memberships paid for\nProject trips, sketching sessions, social events, and charity fundraising\nFlexible working with 3 days per week required in the office after probation \nLife insurance.Apply\n\nIf you meet the criteria above, send us your CV and portfolio.
