Pay, benefits and more:
You’ll be paid a salary of £28,566 per annum, you’ll also receive 20 days annual leave (plus bank holidays. Your benefits package includes a company-sponsored pension plan and access to our voluntary benefits platform, offering retail discounts, cycle-to-work scheme, and more.
What you’ll do on a typical day:
Supervise and motivate a team of warehouse operatives
* Allocate tasks and manage day-to-day workloads
* Deliver clear team briefings and communicate objectives effectively
* Ensure Health & Safety standards are met and maintained
* Deputise for the First Line Manager when required
* Complete accurate documentation, reports and statistics
* Drive continuous improvement and maintain site standards in hygiene and housekeeping
What you need to succeed at GXO:
Previous experience in a supervisory role within a warehouse environment
* Strong organisational and planning skills
* Excellent communication skills and the ability to lead by example
* PC literacy and awareness of Health & Safety practices
* Flexible approach to working shifts and a commitment to operational excellence
