As Duty Manager at the Reception, you’ll be the friendly face that welcomes guests, the calm presence when things get busy, and the go-to support for our people across departments. This role is perfect for someone who loves being hands-on, enjoys variety, and thrives on making people feel looked after. About You and The Role We’re looking for a Duty Manager who: Supports the team to deliver seamless guest experiences – from welcoming VIPs to stepping in during busy periods at reception, concierge, or the bell desk Leads the Reception team in the absence of the Reception Manager Coordinates across departments, manages daily handovers, and ensures smooth arrivals, departures, and follow-ups Handles guest complaints with care, logs service recovery, and authorises allowances, rebates, or late check-out charges when needed Keeps things on track behind the scenes – managing credit reports, lost property and team scheduling Has front-of-house experience, stays calm under pressure, and naturally connects with people Is flexible with shifts working on a 4 on 4 off shift pattern across weekdays and weekends, and genuinely cares about creating great guest experiences With more hotels planned within our wider portfolio, this is your chance to be at the forefront of a dynamic and expanding company.
