Are you an experienced and dedicated ABA Tutor with a passion for making a difference in the lives of children with Special Educational Needs (SEN)? We are looking for a compassionate and skilled individual to join our team, providing tailored one-to-one support to help children achieve their full potential.
About the Role
As an ABA Tutor, you will work closely with SEN students, using Applied Behaviour Analysis techniques to support their learning and development. Your role will involve creating a structured and nurturing environment to meet each child’s unique needs, whether focusing on academic skills, communication, or behaviour management.
This role offers flexible part-time hours, allowing you to work around your existing commitments while making a meaningful impact on the children you support.
Key Responsibilities
1. Deliver one-to-one tutoring and behaviour support to children with SEN, using ABA principles.
2. Develop and implement individualised learning plans to address specific goals.
3. Work collaboratively with families, teachers, and other professionals to ensure continuity of care.
4. Monitor and track progress, adjusting strategies to meet evolving needs.
5. Foster a positive and supportive environment that encourages growth and confidence.
Requirements
6. Minimum of 2 years of experience working with children with SEN.
7. Right to work in the UK.
8. Enhanced DBS check (or willingness to undertake one).
Desired Qualities
9. PGCE in Maths, English, or Science or SEN qualification (highly desirable).
10. A thorough understanding of ABA principles and techniques.
11. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to build strong relationships with students and families.
12. Patience, empathy, and a nurturing approach to teaching.
