Senior Accountant – Accountancy Practice
Harrow (Hybrid)
£40,000 – £52,000 DOE
Butler Rose Public Practice is delighted to be supporting a well-established and growing accountancy firm in Harrow in their search for a Senior Accountant to join their Business Services team.
This is a fantastic opportunity for a qualified practice professional to manage a varied client portfolio while working closely with Managers and Partners in delivering high-quality accounts, tax, and advisory services.
Key Responsibilities
* Manage a portfolio of owner-managed business clients
* Act as the main day-to-day contact, building strong client relationships
* Prepare and review statutory accounts under FRS102 and FRS105
* Prepare and review management accounts
* Prepare and review corporation tax computations and CT600s
* Review VAT returns and advise on compliance matters
* Support on personal tax and partnership tax returns
* Assist with capital allowances and MTD requirements
* Review work prepared by junior staff and provide guidance
* Support client onboarding onto cloud systems such as Xero
Key Requirements
* ACA or ACCA qualified (or equivalent)
* 3 – 5 + years’ experience within a UK accountancy practice
* Strong technical knowledge across accounts and corporate tax
* Good working knowledge of IRIS and Xero
* Excellent communication and client-facing skills
* Strong attention to detail and ability to manage deadlines
