Brightwork Recruitment is excited to announce an opening for a Stores Person on behalf of our client located in Nairn, serving wider Scotland as well as the Highlands and Islands. This is a fantastic opportunity for a motivated and organised individual with experience in a warehouse or stores environment to join a busy operational team in a full-time, permanent position.
The successful candidate will report to the Warehouse, Stores & Yard Supervisor and will be instrumental in maintaining an organised warehouse and ensuring the smooth day-to-day operations of stores and logistics. This role will also include a hands-on component.
Your time at work
Process and restock returned (unused) materials
Pick and pack internal parts requests from a wide variety of components
Receive and accurately process incoming deliveries and documentation
Pack and prepare outgoing shipments
Assist with cyclic stock takes and maintain accurate stock records
Help maintain a clean, tidy, and organised warehouse environment
Provide general warehouse and logistical support as required Our Perfect Worker
Previous stores or warehouse experience (2+ years preferred)
Strong attention to detail and organisational skills
Comfortable using computer systems and Microsoft software
Ability to operate warehouse stock systems using handheld or desktop devices
Experience with Sage 200 or a similar stock management system
Forklift certificate and driving licence would be advantageous
