About the Role:
A forward-thinking secondary school in Redhill is seeking an enthusiastic and experienced History Teacher to join their team on a 0.8 FTE basis (4 days per week). The successful candidate will deliver engaging and high-quality lessons to KS3 and KS4 students, fostering a passion for History while supporting academic achievement and personal development.
Key Responsibilities:

Deliver engaging History lessons across KS3 and KS4 in line with curriculum and assessment requirements.

Plan and prepare differentiated lessons and schemes of work to meet the needs of all learners.
*
Monitor and assess student progress, providing constructive feedback and maintaining accurate records.
*
Contribute to departmental planning, curriculum development, and extra-curricular activities.
*
Promote student engagement and participation in History-related events and projects.
Candidate Requirements:

QTS or QTLS qualified.
*
Experience teaching History to KS3 and KS4 students.
*
Strong subject knowledge and enthusiasm for teaching History.
*
Excellent classroom management and interpersonal skills.
*
Ability to inspire and motivate students of all abilities.
